Spores from Metha Prime
Sometimes, a work of art can have âfreedom to be itself.â
Sometimes, one has to stop and break a normal pattern and find a new one. Art allows me and others the chance to redefine our lives, and painting imprints this definition on canvas.
Such is the case with this large free-flowing abstract. The initial concept was to paint a scene from my space comedy book. The shapes are representative of life-bearing spores for a new planet in the Orion Star System. These spores were released from a gigantic primordial egg, an intergalactic spacecraft.
However, as I finished the canvas, I realized that I was one of those spores. Wanting to find new avenues of discovery and adventure. Regardless of age or location, we all must redefine our purpose and seek a higher revelation. Art is just one vehicle to get the journey started.
Size: 30x48 inches, gloss varnish, unframed. Acrylic, makeup, and pen.
